2023.3.6 School of International Health accepts applications under the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (deadline: June 30, 2023)

School of International Health (SIH) opens for applications for its postgraduate program under the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program. An eligible applicant is a national of an ADB borrowing member country and Japanese ODA scholarship-eligible country. For details, please visit the Admission page in the SIH website.

2022.10.24 The commemorative book for Professor Som-arch Wongkhomthong has been uploaded.

The commemorative book for Professor Som-arch Wongkhomthong, the former chair of Department of Community and Global Health, has been uploaded.

Professor Wongkhomthong served as the professor from June 1996 to March 1999. The book was issued when Professor Wongkhomthong resigned from the department in March 1999. In the book, Professor Wongkhomthong argues what Japan should do for global health, including the roles of School of International Health, which was established in 1992 as the first university department for international health in Japan.

2022.10.18 Introduction to the School of International Health article was published in the Visual Journal of Friends of WHO Japan

Professor Masamine Jimba, Chair of the School of International Health, published an introductory article of the School of International Health (in Japanese) in the Autumn 2022 issue of the official journal of Friends of WHO Japan.
